• GCC Stock Markets in Green Zone

    The economic indicators suggest that GCC stock markets will be in green during the month of August.  After the first session of this month, Omani market rose by 1.29 per cent,  followed by the index of the Abu Dhabi with 0.41 per cent.
    The Dubai index was up 0.34 per cent, reaching a new height while Qatar's index increased by 0.23 per cent, followed by the Bahrain Stock Exchange with 0.10 per cent, and Kuwait stock exchange with 0.02 per cent. The benchmark Dubai Financial Market trading yesterday after the first session of the month of August reached at an altitude of 0.34 per cent, equivalent to 5.22 points, to close at 1547.86 points, extending gains for a third straight session. Coincided with the rise in the index, a noticeable movement of trading was seen, rising volumes by 54 per cent, to reach 140.7 million shares from 91.4 million shares.  Also increased turnover to 189.5 million dirhams, up 35.3 per cent from the values ​​of trading in the last session.
